Twisted Columns is a series of full scale architectural structures made from mortared together 3D printed ceramic bricks. The shape of each column is derived from the application of several bespoke form generating growth algorithms. The first column in the series, Twisted Column I, was made as a freestanding architectural prototype, or sculpture, for an indoors type of environment.
